How excited do I get over a paper bag? VERY!
If you’ve read my posts before, you’ll know I bang on about processes all the time—but when I see something really slick in action, I can’t help myself!
When in Glasgow visiting my other half, we grab a breakfast roll and flat white on work days. This week, I spotted something new at the cafe we go to - they had pre-printed paper bags by the till with all the roll options clearly listed. The options were even broken into groups. This new thing absolutely made my Monday. 😍
✅ Staff didn’t miss a thing
✅ I could make my choices without faff
✅ Kitchen knew the specific order
✅ Easy to check you’ve got the right roll
✅ Exemplary process in action
I was so excited about this clever tweak that I might have embarrassed my boyfriend a bit (he’s used to it by now). The staff even let me take one home—really is a fab café!

It’s proof that the smallest changes can have the biggest impact. Streamlining a process doesn’t have to be fancy; sometimes, it’s as simple as a well-designed paper bag.
What’s the best little process improvement you’ve come across recently? Share it with me—I love hearing about these moments of brilliance!
